Participants will have opportunities to engage in fun activities & games that help enhance skills, coordination and social interaction.
Therapeutic riding is best for individuals with various disabilities and challenges, including:
People with ADHD, anxiety, and trauma can benefit from the calming effects of horses and the structured environment. Individuals with physical, behavioral, and neurological disorders, as therapeutic riding can improve physical health and emotional well-being. Nonverbal children and adults who may struggle with traditional therapy methods, as therapeutic riding provides a hands-on approach. Veterans and their families, who can benefit from equine-assisted therapy programs that focus on healing and wellness. Therapeutic riding offers a supportive and engaging way for individuals to develop skills and improve their overall quality of life.
